Welcome to Caslondon

Art

From Picasso to Hockney. From Van Gogh to Hirst. Our team welcomes contributions and suggestions from the art world. Traditional, ancient, modern, leading international galleries, new blood plus the latest rebels from the world’s art schools. We look at the various art movements over the centuries.

Art as revolution – those who set out to shock and dismay the senses. The effect of artists on style and fashion. Painting; oil verses watercolour. The business of modernism. The finest in the movement. Spotlight on Edward Hopper and others. Sculpture and sculptures; are they incarnations of clone scientists creating “in our image”. What is the future? Beauty and its perception.
